Charlotte's Story

If you don't like cats, look away now!

Charlotte Alexandra Mary was gravely ill when a kind stranger found her and took her to Maneki Neko HQ, where she was placed in foster care with the wonderful Babs.

A few days later, Charlotte gave birth to three kittens. The kittens were adopted and Babs continued to nurse Charlotte back to good health.

Sometime during the pandemic, I found Charlotte on Neko HQ’s adoption page. We first met online, then Charlotte came to live with me and the rest is happy history.

She has the sweetest personality and the cutest meow, which is really more of a little squeak. She snores her head off, does not like having her nails cut and needs loads of cuddles, kisses and fireside chats. She also takes her responsibilities around the house very seriously by carefully inspecting all our candles.

Charlotte got her second chance because a stranger stopped to help her and because people like Babs and the team at Neko HQ were there to care for her.
